Vintage Optimus SVEA model 123 (not 123R) bushwalking stove. All original. Includes brass windshield and fuel tank (no dents), burner, aluminium cup (no dents) & adjustment key. Runs on Shellite, so a very reliable cold weather stove. A new Viton O-ring has been fitted to the fuel tank cap. This stove runs perfectly with an even, strong, all-blue flame (no yellow tips). This model was first produced by Sieverts Lödlampfabrik (later known as Sievert AB) between 1955 and 1969. The Sievert brand was acquired by Optimus in 1969, who continued this model’s production for a few years before releasing their own 123R model in the early 1970s. The SVEA 123 stove is now regarded as a classic and this is a particularly clean example, manufactured by Optimus in the very early 1970s.
