[Wanted Hbt] MemoryMap Tasmap 25,000 1x Android licence

Hello All,

I would love to be able to use MemoryMaps Tasmania T1, the one with the 1:25,000 TasMaps on it, on my Android phone.

Must have missed out at some stage coz I did buy an early version with 2 licences for Windows and then upgraded to the next version of MM's Tasmania, but that doesn't include the 1:25,000, only the 1:50,000.

Have tried quite a few times using the software, the app, FaceBook and email to buy an additional licence from MM but didn't get anywhere ... sigh ...

Is there anyone about who has got a spare Android licence that I could use?

Not sure if it is of any use to anyone, but I can also help with 1 Windows licence and a full download of MM's TasMap 1:25,000 and 1:100,000 (the old version). Also the old version of Australia 1:250,000 which is far better than what they offer online now, I use it a lot for road trip planning (no licence required for that one).

Would love to hear from you.

:-) dq.

Could be wrong but I dont think its possible to transfer android app licences. A purchase is linked to your google account.

Does Australia 1:250,000 come on an SD chip? We may need a map for our trip to Uluru next year

Not sure, but don't think so.

The licences work on Windows as well as Android.

More likely to be linked to a login at MemoryMap like what I've got.

Edit: the image below is of the version that I'm after

Realise you preferred option is memory map full state download but another option for 25k is using geo tiff (gov tasmaps for $2 per map) or geopdf (avenzea maps have $1 maps.)

Might work out cheaper if you only need 20 maps or so.

Then load them up in your android app of choice. Oruxmaps will support both. I'm sure various other apps would support one or the other or both.

Also open street map download which is free but contours are less precise.

Can be put wherever you like (SD, USB memory stick, hard drive, ...) . Just need to tell MemoryMap where to find it. File size abit less than 1GB.

Screenshots to give you a bit of an idea what it looks like:

Thx for that.

Am also using Orux with OSM data which is nice.

The easiest solution though would be to get one licence that works on Android, if possible. Don't need any map downloads, already have the full set, just not the licence for MemoryMap to display it on Android.
