Today (12/03/2010) I did the return trip to Mt Anne Summit. When I got back, I accidentally left my camera on the ground. I left the carpark around 16:45, and returned around 19:20, but it was gone.

If you picked up my camera, please please please contact me as soon as possible. I really want the photos stored on it. I don't even care about the camera - just the memory card.

Some people don't think to hand it in at the Parks office and might hand it in at the Police station. Worth a try. Likely you will need to go into a station and complete a lost property report.
I have a lot of photos from the Mt Anne area, is there anything in particular that you took that you would like? PM or email me & I will see what I can find.

Yeah, the police was my next point of call; I discovered on saturday that they're closed on weekends, so will give them a buzz tomorrow.

I've actually just moved to New Zealand from Tasmania (caught a 6 am flight this morning), and don't know when i'll be back, so might have to get my old flatmate to pretend to be me or something for the lost property report :/.

Thanks for the offer of photos, tasadam; I'm just a bit of a photo hoarder, and there's now a gaping hole in my collection that may never be filled (until I can make it back to tassie to do the mt anne summit again). Well Adam is rather clever on photo manipulation.. send him a pic of yourself and im sure he'd be able to stitch something up
