[VIC Melb] Scarpa ZG10 size 48

Hi All,
I have a pair of Scarpa ZG10 boots for sale in size 48. They are very well made boots, and are in excellent condition (only 6 days use). Paid $450 six months ago, selling for $200! Will post Aus wide.

Are these crampon compatible boots//soles??
48 is a little large but I need orthotics and usually need to go up one size to fit the foot-beds

Hi Moondog, these boot would be suitable for use with hiking crampons but not climbing crampons. Crampons from Stubai or Kahtoola would work well but not ones requiring a stiff climbing sole. Maybe someone else here has experience with these?

I like these because they have the full rand. That full black part going around the shoe keeps it durable, and many mountain hikers prefer this to the SL M3. I find the SL M3 more comfortable, but they'll probally not going to be as durable without that full rand these ZG10 have.
One of my mountaineering buddies has these.
Any strap on crampons would be suitable. Crampons with levers either at the front or the heel would be unsuitable.

For walking I have my old Stubia strap on crampons, had them over 30 years and still use them on occasion, much lighter than climbing crampons, I asked as my SLs were too soft to use crampons with

Hi Luke-vic, are these boots still for sale? What size are they in Aus sizing, I normally wear a size 12 in Blundstone boots. If you think they will fit i will take them but I would require them to arive in Hobart fairly soon as I would like to take them to NZ with me but I leave on the 26/5.
