My trusty Hilleberg Nallo 3 green.

Looks pretty much like this:



About 5 years old, has spent about 15 nites bush, in good condition. 2 guy line attachment points have been stitched after I pegged them out pulling way too far forward. A small hole in the flyscreen.

Specs as shown here http://www.moontrail.com/tents/hilleberg_nallo3.php, except that the outer fly doesn't have the small zipper at the rear bottom end (I'm not too sure why that is needed because it is quite easy & effective to push the rear up with a small stick or peg).

I've added the white guy lines hanging just inside the door. They make the use of the vestibule even more flexible, with the 2 lines pegged out (using the same pegs as the vestibule) the whole vestibule can be opened up to have great 180 degree views . The attachments can be easily removed. Some of the pics further up in this thread show them in use.

Further up i said I'd re-stitched 2 attachements, but is actually only one methinks ... quite hard to spot

Actually, there's another difference to the current model ... it is 100g lighter .

Don't know why, but it is 2.3 kg including all pegs, spare pole and pole sleeve on our kitchen scale which has been calibrated with 2L water = 2kg.

The tent in bag as shown above is packed quite loosely. It can be compressed down about half that size, maybe even a bit more.

Has the tent been sold yet?
How firm is the price? My wife and I are after a Nallo 2 or 3 but we don't mind paying the extra dollars to get a brand new one with warranty and the insurance all is in pristine conditions. Mind you, your stitching of the guy line attachment looks really good. Anyway, not sure we want to fork the $450 for a 5 year old tent even of the Hilleberg quality, hence the question about the price.

Hillebergs tend to hold their condition & price better than most other tents.

I can also relate to your comment about happy to pay extra dollar for peace of mind re. warranty & condition.
