********** ITEM SOLD ***************
This is a black Montane Superfly XT (eVent Jacket) Size S purchased 3 months ago, but 2010 model.

This is bombproof hiking and mountain jacket, but still only weighs 545g (actually measured on scales!). Includes pit vents, map pockets, and helmet compatible hood.

I have worn this jacket only twice (Nothing off-track! Nothing in Tas!) before deciding the size is too small for me. I am 183cm and find the jacket not quite long enough for my needs. Pics on eBay.

Superfly XT’s retail for $649 (online $529) at MainPeak: http://www.mainpeak.com.au/outdoor/124164.html

There’s a good video review here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQV9z2dTxoo

Listed on eBay - closes 13 Sept http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260849080912

At 183cm tall you would normally be in (at minimum) a mens large so I'm not surprised you found it a little small. I'm only 186 and I need an XL at a minmum and XL Tall when I can get it although I only need a large in most Patagonia stuff

Small framed though - only 70kg so tend to fit S/M in most hiking stuff....except long pants!

I was a little suprised at the size of rain jackets recently. I'm 178cm and weight around 75kg and found that I was definately a small in the Macpac range of jackets and similar with MD's and Mountain Hardwear. I usually wear a medium or large in other clothing. My only concern with small jackets is whether the cut is long enough to cover my backside.

Incidently, I'm interested in the jacket. Placed a bid....

Yep this has plenty of body room and arm length ... just too short for me at my height. Gotta agree that the "tougher" jackets seem to be a "roomy" cut, presumably for bulkier insulation layer... I am swimming in the Macpac M sizes.
