Hi all

SOLD

I'll leave it up for a few more days then if no action I'll post on HF or BPL.
Some really good pictures of this exact jacket here (we the same type and size, it's not mine): http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin ... d_id=46016
[/color]

More gear cleanout. Selling my eVent packa.
It is red 3 layer eVent with a silnylon pack cover. (The regular packa's are all made from silnylon, ie: no breathable material)
Probably used total for about 8 days of use, Rest of the time it's just been either a pillow or extra weight in the pack.
Recently washed in sports wash and the DWR is like new. It beads awesome (All the eVent I have beads better than most of the Goretex I have owned)

Excellent rain jacket. Very long in cut and it has a great extra long drop tail piece of eVent (unlike most others)
It's been a great coat and the function is great. Trust me I sweat a lot and dont in this.
Between the eVent, huge pit zips and loose fit it's very breathable.
I just have too many shells. I have a bub on the way and once it's here I will have to use more regular shells with a baby backpack. Poor kid would suffocate under the pack cover part.
Weighs in at 436grams.
If your unsure what exactly a packa is have a look here:
http://www.thepacka.com/
Or do a google search and read all the much loved reviews.
It's nice to keep all your gear and pack straps dry as the packa covers all.

This one is a size Small but I normally wear a large and it swims on me.
I'm 5'11" and the arm length is perfect for me (Hence why I have the small as the run huge)
I have a 50ltr pack and the cover fits like a glove. Would probably fit up to about a 65ltr pack.
The size thing is mainly the pack cover and arm length. The torso and length are the same on all the packa's (Or so I recall when I emailed eddie when purchasing)

Asking for $175 $150 $140 posted.
Paid $250 + $30 post from the US when new. Approx. 15 months old.

Sorry I don't have a full length photo on file. If required I can get one but there are heaps of online pic's of the regular silnylon packa's. Full length pic's added, Note the excellent long length that everyone wants

Dang. I only emailed him about one a few months back and he only had mediums and larges left in the eVent. Ooooh. Ill resist as I bought another jacket but here's a friendly bump for a really cool product.

I am also around the 5'11" mark but broader in the beam so is there plenty of freedom around the bum?

Sounds good!

One thing the packa definately isn't is form fitting. Its loose fitting in design and as I said, the main body of the packa is the same size from small to large. Theres some big looking guys pictured on the packa website.
Picture poncho with front zip and shaped back (pack cover part)
The type of fit could also come back to how large your pack is, obvioulsy if you jam it over a really thick 75ltr pack the amount of size left to zip up would be minimal. But if you have a smaller sized pack it will leave more girth.
Not sure on your size but it's pretty baggy in design, there has always been plenty of adjustment on me but I'm only about 78kgs, 40ish inch chest.

I be happy to sell on, if it didnt fit you could send it back for a refund. Just so long as you covered the postage both ways if it didn't work out.

Okay so I have dropped the price to $140 and added a few more pictures of the arm length and overall coat length.

This is the jacket many whine for as it has excellent length and breath's amazingly for a shell.
You can see how far it comes down my thigh's in the pic's.

I'll just end up sitting on this if no one buys at this price as it's a steal.
