Police have located the body of a man 350m below the Kepler Track, after a pair of Canadian tourists were reported missing.

They were keen being on the Kepler at this time of year.
There are a couple of decent avalanche zones up there.

A mountaineering expert says two young Canadian tourists walking the Kepler Track probably would not have even heard the avalanche that claimed their lives.
