Forum rules

Please keep the width of embedded images (using [img] [/img] tags) in this forum to no more than 800 pixels wide (this will avoid them being clipped without notice by most users' window sizes). Attached images can be any resolution so long as the file size is no more than 1 MB (attachments will be displayed by the forums as thumbnails no larger than 800 pixels linked to the full-size image).

Please include a description of the pictures' content so that readers know what they're all about.

For topics focussed on narrative rather than the photos, please consider posting in one of the 'Trip Report' forums instead.

Nice photos - thanks.

Its an effort to get to the big island, so I have not planned on getting to its smaller offsider.
But it does appear to have some interesting walks and coastlines.

Aren't those cliffs you see from East cloudy head impressive! Esp. that steep one in foreground. Wow I was just there only a few days ago and now there it is!

:D ! i was there on sunday.

yes i agree, the photos just doesn't show just how amazing the colours of the water, and the contrast against the cliffs and the hills and and just the grandness of it all...

I have this one too.. with me in it.. it gives a better idea of scale...

I am thinking of heading to Bruny Is in Oct or Nov, where is the best place to camp. Which are the best walks to do, I hope to be there about 3 or 4 nights. Granny

I think the best campsite on Bruny Island is the place just south of the neck

You don't need a panorama camera, you just need to take a series of photos that can be 'stitched together' with photo software.

I get pretty good results with the open-source (i.e free) Hugin software:
http://hugin.sourceforge.net/

You can download binaries for windows, Mac and Linux.
