Crescent Bay

Since we were already on the Peninsula with the APS, we decided to extend our visit with a couple of nights at Nubeena.

Despite getting soaked the previous day walking back from Salters Point, we dried our gear and headed off to Crescent Bay the next day. The eastern side of the Peninsula seemed wisest in view of the weather that was still blowing through.

Despite the occasional hail storm, the Bay was fantastic, the more so for having it to ourselves.

This is one walker who is pleased that Dick has taken his bat and ball and gone home.

Hi Pedro, I assume your reference to "APS" is the Australian Photographic Society"? Did you attend the national conference in Launceston recently? I wonder how many other forum members are members of APS or local photographic societies.

Hi Tas-man

Good guess, and I should join, but no, in this case APS is the Australian Plant Society.

They do much more than just the Flower Show that is on here in Hobart in a couple of weeks.
