Here are some pictures of a day walk that I did yesterday (Friday 07-11-08) to one of the remotest peaks in the Namadgi National Park, Mt Namadgi 1780m. The walk covered 22 k all but 3 k on trackless country and most through fire regrowth, total ascent around 1150m, we took 10 hours. The views are some of the best to be had anywhere, we could see Mt Jagungal in the Australian Alps which still had snow on it. When we reached the Peak of Namadgi a bottle of champagne was opened to celebrate John’s 60th birthday. (Johns blog
