We didn't' get to the forum get together at Oakleigh View, only because the first skiable snow at cradle happened today........

He has a special skiing beanie.... it's odd seeing him without the usual isn't it?

The skis are remarkably good.

They make great snow shoes.

They are very light to carry.

They are very easy to turn.

I even tried skiing downhill with the skins on.... its quite surreal.. like skiing in slow motion.

Balance is critical.

I want to try them on piste at a resort. I think they would be a lot of fun.

Great shots! I was up on Marions with a guest on Sunday and it was amazing how much of the snow was gone (given we had about a foot through Pinestone Valley on Saturday)!
