Are you out there, Bart Smith, Ranger in Charge of King-Howqua Unit, Alpine NP?
Sorry that this is not about the camera; but, it is about a track condition.

Have you heard of the recent discussion on Helicopter Spur within this forum? From memory, I went through it with YHA Bushwalking about at least 10 years ago. There were several of us and we could perform a human chain so that we could manage the pack-handling quite easily.

I plan to go with a friend and both we are not rockclimbers. Will pack a 6m rope for the pack- hauling and hope we will be able to manage. Will also carry an emergency bacon.

Eh? You don't need to packhaul on Helicopter, you just sidle the cliffs. There are only two sections and they're both easy to handle.
