FS: Cheap 850 fill down jackets

Hi Guys,

I just bought a couple of quality down jackets on special from the states and am looking to pass a couple on (to reduce the sting of postage). It is the 850 Fill Hooded Stoic Hadron Anorak, which uses premium 850+ Fill Goose Down and Pertex Quantum.

All Jackets are size large, are ugly green and will set you back $90 (postage + rubbish au dollar atm) which is super cheap for a jacket with these specs.

If you are keen post or PM me and we can work out postage (should be about $12) Australia wide.

Shame. If id known I would have shared an order and got the women's. DofG have ridiculous international postage costs. Great looking jackets though. Ill have a think and might grab a mens.

Hi guys,

Thanks for all the replies and Pm's! These guys shipped a couple of days ago so should be here at the end of next week with some luck. When they arrive, I will post a bunch of pics and answer all sizing related questions. Meanwhile, backcountry. Com has a large number of reviews which might be able to help you all out.

I am currently putting everyone who has expressed interest into a preliminary interested list so I can quickly send the jackets off when they arrive. Also, I will consider offers below 90 if I can't sell the jackets after a month or two.

Mic: Now you mention it I will should have taken a group order. I wasn't even particularly looking for another jacket though, just got a case of the ol trigger finger!

Hi Guys,

Attached are a couple of pictures of the jackets. So far I have been loving mine and I especially love that there really isn't any more weight to cut out (there is no zip and they have used the lightest of everything).

Matt: I reckon they would fit you (maybe a touch loose). I am 6"2 and 80kg and they fit me great. Alternatively I have a used Montbell UL down inner parka in M that would fit you perfectly if you are interested?

Mic: Come on, you know you want to! Lovely down stuff:)

Also, I have sold most of them to friends and there is 1left, so you better hurry!

Ha! You know how easily Im tempted by downy goodness but alas I have just purchased a much needed synthetic...things get a little too damp up here in QLD sometimes for my down

That being said they are a nice looking jacket and id much prefer an anorak than my current jacket. Im sure they'll be snapped up!
