I knew it was a typo :lol: and as to Farts you can laugh but it is not compulsory to smell them unless you are (a new Bride introduced to a Dutch Oven ) which was the thing to do in the sixties :D

I generally find I never need to %$@# during the night. If I really did I would get out of my tent unless I was in cyclonic conditions. I have no problem with peeing in a bottle though.

I still sleep throughout the night without the need to pee, but when I do start using one, do people recommend to get into the pushup plank position? Or kneeling position inside the tent?

Some tents have barely enough room to even sit up in

Kneeling would work well. Even the side position can work as long as you make sure your dick is straight (Ive only done from inside a tarp to 'outside' when it was raining, not into a bottle)...

Ok! I was wrong just did not get the point !! :lol: because as an Adult I have learned to Pee with no difficulty , and in this instance the most important thing is to ensure your Penis is actually in the bottle :lol:

A friend of mine became so accustomed to using a pee bottle that he would use one in any season just to avoid getting out of his sleeping bag. Yes, he could even do it while lying down in his bag. I don't know how. But anyways, one time he did this and then fell back asleep with Mr. Winky still in the bottle. He awoke in the morning to a wet bag and much disgust and embarrassment.

Worse still, another friend got into the habit of using one AT HOME. His wife eventually put a stop to that, although not long after there was a divorce. I wonder....

GEEZ first post for me hey.........I hate getting out of my nice warm tent in the middle of the night and I'm a big one for Tentliness....so I use the ziplock bags that I have dehydrated my food in.......I wrap the lock strip around the old fella and let go into a sealed area then off to the Vestible with it ........too easy

As a woman I don't have a hose to put in the bottle but I have mastered the squat over a 1L Nalgene wide mouth bottle. Doubles as a hot water bottle when used. I also use a Whiz which is an SUP device and that means no bare *&%$#! in the bush! I'm investigating packing out crap as well. It's the most ecologically sound method.

You could collect possibly collect the flatus in a Nalgene and jury rig it to power a gas burner :lol:
