Muogamarra Nature Reserve is open at the moment - as it is for 6/52. Anyone know what the walking is like from the Hawkesbury River at Peats Bight to the stated original road? I will assume this road is on N side of Muogamarra Creek. What is Peats Bight like for water access (with a 'glass kayak) at low tide?
"The walk winds down Peats Bight Trail over historic road works into Peats Crater, a volcanic diatreme and the site of early farm settlements that took advantage of the rich soil. It continues along the original road to Peats Bight through rainforest and mangrove environments."
FWIW, I have been told there are no unique plants to the region, just masses of flowers currently within this Nature Reserve.
