Bungonia red track anti-clockwise?

Postby sanbot » Sat 03 May, 2014 10:36 am

We are thinking of doing the red track anti-clockwise this time. But we're concerned about the section with the boulders in the canyon.

Last time we were scrambling down but going anti-clockwise we will be climbing up and I can't remember if the boulders were too large to climb up?

Anyone done it anti-clockwise care to comment?

I'm not quite sure which one the red track is, but if you're talking about walking up Bungonia Gorge from the it's junction with the Shoalhaven River, then that is definitely do-able. The boulders are quite large, and as there is no track, you have to find your own way around, under and over the obstacles, which is good fun.
Tackling the unknown and the awesome one adventure at a time!
