WTB quilts/packs/filters/jackets etc etc!

Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

WTB quilts/packs/filters/jackets etc etc!

Hi all

I've posted a few times about finalising my kit so thought I would throw this up here to see if anyone is looking to get rid of some gear for a decent price.

What I need are a pack, looking at the Osprey exos 58 L for me (will look at alternatives that are lightweight) and the Osprey Aura for the misses (if it's not purple will need to be cheap so I can convince the gf haha) but will also look at other packs. While colour really means little to me, a womens pack in purple will be easier to convince the gf on

A quilt or two, preferably -5 or a more lightweight quilt for the warmer months. I mainly hammock camp so a quilt suits my needs better, plus for future ground camping, I've never been a fan of bags (I move a lot) but I will consider what you have

Rain jackets for both me and the GF, something that will fit over a mens size S patagonia down sweater, or womens size XS Uniqlo down parka. Don't really care if it's gore-tex, Event, blah blah want it to be reasonably light, and keep me dry. I have no intention of being out in a storm or anything severe, but who knows.

Filters. The MSR in another thread is really tempting me but will see what else is out there. Interested in most things from Katyden, Sawyer, MSR. Not fussed if it's a pump or squeeze, both have different uses depending on style.

Probably could use some bottom thermals too, been using the same two pairs since I was 10 years old (I'm 22 now so god knows how they still fit  ) Size S/M for me and XXS-XS for womens

This is just a feeler to see what people are willing to get rid of, I no doubtably need lots of little things as well that I can't even think about so let me know and I might want it. Need a mixture of mens and womens items. I defiantly do NOT have the funds to buy all of this in the next week, or even the next month but if you need to get rid of something I may need, and funds depending I may take it.

Feel free to reply here or PM me with anything you have :D

Hi Mitchc

None of my gear is old stuff, so i would only be selling it to upgrade so it might be everything is far too expensive for you, but I'd thought I would offer anyway :D

ZPacks Arc Blast 52 Litre Pack $250. SOLD
I owned the Exos 58 before this gem and there are two things to note, The Exos is quite a bit larger, but I find this more comfortable, that's just me though. it has a 20inch back length. to measure yourself follow this: http://www.zpacks.com/large_image.shtml ... height.jpg

Zpacks -7 sleeping bag 560grams $400 NOT AVAILABLE
Best sleeping bag I've ever owned although I suspect it's not really what you are looking for.

Zpacks Waterproof breathable Jacket (Original fabric) $200 NOT AVAILABLE
Waist: 42" / Chest Girth: 42" / Zipper: 32" it has armpit zips and weighs about 140 grams.

Bit of a trend with the brand I know :) . I also know their high prices to pay, but it is the best gear I have ever had.

If Mitchc doesn't want the Arc Blast, and you are still interested in selling it, I'm interested.

Matter resolved, the person I'd be getting it for doesn't want it.

Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful.

Blast, I REALLY want this quilt. I have been looking at Zpacks quilts for a while and when I can justify the money will be buying one but I'm not able to spot $400 for one right now.

Thanks for the offer on the packs but I may stay clear of a cuban fibre pack at this point. I will have to have a look at the jacket online, cause I really know diddly squat about it.

Carryless -- if you don't mind, why are you selling all this new Zpacks stuff? Not happy with it?

Mitch -- I am toying with the idea of buying a new EE quilt with the 850 Dry down. I would sell my old quilt (little used) for $300. It's a long/wide Revelation of the previous generation, 850FP down, 10D fabrics, -7C, 660g.
