Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

FS [Syd] Hennessy Hammock Expedition A-Sym Zip

I have had this for 2 years but only used it a couple of times in the backyard as it is just too short for me. It says it can sleep people up to 6 foot tall but I am right on 6 foot and just could not get a comfy sleep. My wife's only 5 foot 4 and absolutely loves it and dropped off to sleep in about 10 minutes just to prove a point (she told me to get the bigger one in the first place) but while the kids are still babies we just are not going to use it so it's gotta go.

It's in excellent condition, always stored in cool, dry garage out of direct sunlight and heat. There is more of a description here: http://www.bogong.com.au/hennessy-hammo ... m-zip.html

Looking for $180 Ono + postage as it's literally as new.

I'm in sutherland shire Sydney if you'd prefer pick up.

Thanks.

Hi mate been thinking about trying something like this for a while so I'm slightly interested. I've done research on the warbirds but not these ones so not quite up to speed with features etc. Can you advise what sort of room is in these when you're lying I'm them and are they double layered for using with a mat like the warbirds? Is this the same as the model that's on the outdoor gear lab review as far as features etc? I'm 173 so I'm guessing length would be ok?

Thanks. Mick.

Yeah mate, it looks like the same one reviewed there. It a single layer and I slept in it with a thin closed cell foam pad. I've heard under quilts are the best but I've never used one so can't really comment.
There is plenty of room inside and it's great in the rain as the tarp keeps you nice and dry. I'm 184cm so I was just bit long I reckon. At 173cm you will have heaps of room.
It's also got side tie out points which I found great to minimise rocking. It's definitely a quality product and extremely well made. YouTube is good for reviews as well.

Thanks for the info mate. I'm still on the fence with the whole idea so will have a think about it. Good luck with the sale either way!

No worries.
Price drop to $180 if that helps.
