I have purchased HandyGPS app for my iphone 5 for about $3 and it is working beautifully.
Only problem is that you have to download a walk onto computer and then delete from the HandyGPS before recording another walk. There does not seem to be a storage facility for previous walks - or am I missing something?

I only use HandyGPS on Android, and I think some features a slightly different on iOS, but for iOS you have to export the walk to a KML file. On android, you can import the file back in to view it, but I don't think there's an in built way to view completed tracks. For iOS I think you have to import the file back in to view the completed walk.
