Share shipping on Warbonnet order

Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

Share shipping on Warbonnet order

I'm about to put an order through with Warbonnet Outdoors. They sell great hammocks (I've got a hammock), tarps and quilts ... but, they are based in USA (you can't buy retail in Australia) and shipping is a killer ($70 minimum). If you've ever thought of buying something from Warbonnet - they make great stuff - but the shipping costs put you off (like me), how about grouping an order to make the shipping cost more reasonable.

If you're thinking about buying something,I can put through a grouped order and we can share shipping.

Let me know if you are interested.

Yeah, I'm looking at the Superfly or the Mamajamba.

I live in Darwin, so I'm thinking the Mamajamba. I don't really need the three season protection, it's just the monsoonal rain I need protection from. Having said that, for an extra $25 you get the complete kit. Still working through in my mind. I'd probably get some Dutchware gadgets as well.

$A35 for postage is a lot more reasonable than $A70.

Let me know if you're in, and we can work out the details.

Cheers
Rodney

Guys, have you thought of opening a ShopMate account with Auspost? That way the supplier uses USPS to ship to a US address and AusPost deliver it from there. Check out the web site to see if it'll work for you;

It seemed like a good idea.....at the time.....

Thanks alanm - I wasn't aware of the ShopMate service. Looks like a great way to reduce postage costs on some items coming from the US.

Cecile and I will be in New York in May
Depending on the weight and bulk we may be able to offer a pick-up and bring home for you
You would then however need to arrange for post from Geelong
