I am selling my Tarptent DW Moment tent with both mesh & partial solid inners and the optional cross pole. It is in excellent used order, no wear, rips, tears etc. The partial inner has maybe been used for one or two nights, the rest of the tent for probably 40 nights.

The DW (double-wall) Moment is an extremely popular Tarptent because it is so lightweight, goes up with only two pegs and it free-standing if you use the cross pole as well. It has twin vestibules for great ventilation and views and has a floor that can be widened in the middle for more floor or vestibule space. It is rated a 3-4 season tent. As I said, this tent is in excellent used condition and the silnylon, netting & zips are all great. I always use a groundsheet so the floors are perfect.

In the interests of full disclosure there are three things I want to let you know if you are interested:

I seam sealed this tent and it was my first go at doing one so it is effective (has never leaked) but is messy! If I were keeping it I would strip back the seam sealer and redo it because some of the thick bits are starting to peel off a little.

When I purchased the optional cross pole one of the carbon segments had some small strips of the outer carbon sheath lifting off the inner layer. Tarptent sent me a new carbon pole segment which will come with the tent. I simply taped up the section and have had absolutely no issues with it so have never bothered to put the new section in.

One of the aluminium sections had a small split at the join after some use. I glued a piece of pole sleeve over it, taped it and have had no problems with it. You can buy a replacement section of aluminium pole from Tarptent for $2.00USD (which I wish I had thought of doing when I ordered my Stratospire I but I didn’t, and it seemed silly to pay postage for one section of pole.)
