Tue 22 Dec, 2009 2:42 pm
Henty Dunes, north of Strahan?

Not Henty Dunes.

I remember Johnw posting with some foul weather on the NE coast recently, so I'll guess Binalong Bay?

Not Binalong Bay but you are very close.

Looks a bit like the beach near Stieglitz

You're closer still but need to be more specific. I'll offer a slightly cryptic clue - Not described as a beach, and Madonna played the role of this foreign patriot.

Can't have you waiting around too long for an answer SW so I'll jump in.
This is taken on the road that runs to the base of King William I.
From left to right -KWI, Miligans Peak & Mt Pitt.
Not very nice weather by the looks of it

I think you will find the answer to this one will be found
here.
Not King Wil, but Mt Field area.

Course we could be talking about something different in that other topic - just checked the exif data and they are taken 2 months apart so perhaps King Wil it is...
Wed 23 Dec, 2009 10:07 am
Pretty certain it's the King Willies...
Wed 23 Dec, 2009 10:14 am
Pretty obvious now I have checked / uploaded my pic from the same area.
The next one then...
Wed 23 Dec, 2009 10:23 am
I don't recognize the lake, but the cliffy rocks behind it suggests perhaps somewhere near Mt Murchison.
Wed 23 Dec, 2009 10:42 am
Not Murchison area Adam;
it's in an area where I met you once (& only time)...(BIG clue).
Wed 23 Dec, 2009 11:07 am
The only one I can find on the map that looks like that shape is Lonely Tarns, near Lightning Ridge on the Mt Anne circuit.
If that's wrong, for a level playing field, I met Stu on Mt Eliza, he and a mate were doing Mt Anne on a day trip when we went up there in late February 2008. Actually I think it must have been early March when I met you, we were on the way out.

Yeh I dont think i'd post a pic in the comp on the same day as I post one in the gallery from the same walk......
KW it certainly was, and it was a nice day, just pished down on us from the logbook back!! I mean really really pished down.....
amanda and I were both trying to get changed inside the car to avoid getting clean clothes wet...
This exif checking buisness seems a bit like cheating to me..... are you really that desperate to get it right Adam??
Wed 23 Dec, 2009 11:21 am
I reckon it's lake Timk

No, I'm just pretty clueless with many of them, but I
want to play... So I play the only way I can when I have no idea where the photo is.
Wed 23 Dec, 2009 11:27 am
hehe yeh fair enough! use whatever tools are available to us....
Wed 23 Dec, 2009 12:49 pm
Lake Timk it is my good friend.
Taken from out near Lots Wife looking down.
Over to you SW...
Wed 23 Dec, 2009 1:14 pm
Thought it must have been from lots wife! Looking forward to finally bagging that one and completing the peaks in the circuit!!
Sorry for the delay, I have NEVER seen a que in a supermarket like that before....
