Spicers Lookout?
Fri 14 Feb, 2020 10:36 am
Was about to post a clue Eggs. The rocks on top of the hill was a give away. Cathedral Hill just before Spicers. Rocky Cape. Your go Eggs.
Fri 14 Feb, 2020 12:16 pm
Hmm - it appears it was still some distance from Spicers.
So not quite deserved - anyone can go next.

Something a little different, but it should be easy enough.
These three markers are all on the same peak along with the remains of a cairn, although none of them is the true highest point. Which peak?

Sprent?
Fri 14 Feb, 2020 2:50 pm
Sprent it is. You'd think with so many attempts at marking the summit, they'd get at least one right.

There was a usb cable swinging from the trig when I was there last. It wouldn't charge my phone though!
I'm descending one abel with another just visible above the tree's to the left.

For some reason it reminds me ea lot of the route I took down off Parson and Clerk back to Gunns Marsh Rd, but I don't think another Abel would be visible from there.

I have not been there. Wrong half too.

Is it one of those clearings on the way to Mt Lord(or way back) from lake Webster? Maybe near freezing hill but looking towards the rodway range?
Edit. Lake name
Fri 14 Feb, 2020 8:44 pm
Looks like that clearing when you pop out of the scrub on the way to Mt Weld, below the unnamed tarn?
Sat 15 Feb, 2020 8:31 am
Take it away Lucas. A great spot to walk through after the scrub encountered on the way up
Sat 15 Feb, 2020 11:25 am
I'm away from my laptop, so anyone can jump in
Sun 16 Feb, 2020 11:49 am
Looks like everyone is out enjoying this lovely weather. I'll jump in:

Hmm. No bites. iirc, I did get down low for this photo - so the many, many folks who have gone this way would normally see much more of the mountain in view.

At first I thought it was Barn Bluff from the north west - near Recondite or Brewery - now I'm wondering about maybe Pelion East from west or north west - maybe from Pine Forest Moor near Pelion West?

Your first thought was correct in terms of the mountain, but too far away, and not nearly well enough trodden.
