Is that Cooks Corner?

Reckon it's Copper Cove. Edit: but I could be wrong about that!

I think it's further north of Cook's Corner at the southern end of Hazards Beach?

Yes, at the campsite at the southern end of Hazards Beach.

It's a great shot, but is it in Tassie? Macquarie Island maybe...?

Haha yeah, I was a bit confused too!

OK, do I need to be more specific than "Macquarie Island"? Because, you lucky *&%$#!, you may well be the only forumite who has been there.
eta: As a wild GoogleEarth inspired guess - near Mt Power?

Curious as to where on Macca this is too. I spent 6 months walking that little sponge, but can't quite place it. Mind you it was 10 years ago now. Is the photo post rabbit eradication? The Pleurophyllum looks healthier than when I was there.

Sorry NNW. Macquarie Island was good enough.
It's on the Island Lake Track between Bauer Bay and Station. 2016 so yep post rabbits.
I was extra lucky this day - absolutely perfect summer weather, a very very rare day on Macca as you would know Thornbill

OK, thanks. One I've always wanted to do but never will.
A little closer to home:

Ahh of course. Scoble Lake. Gotta love those rare sunny, windless days. Thanks for the info.

Yes, Promontory it is.

Cheers NNW. Can't wait to get back to the Warthurs one day
Let's see if I can make this one come up:

Beautiful shot.
Achilles, Thetis, Paddys Nut . . . somewhere on the ridge leading to Pelion West? It looks a lot like the pools I camped next to in the second-last saddle before waking up to typically clagged in conditions that put an end to the hope of knocking off Pelion West.
Mon 11 May, 2020 7:22 pm
Yep, we camped by these pools on the ridge on the way towards Achilles/Perrins/Thetis. Sounds like we were a little luckier with the weather than you!
All yours.

It's a lovely spot. Had decent conditions for the walk until then so can't really complain.
How about this one?

Looks a bit like inglis?
Bigbird that is a beautiful photo.
Tue 12 May, 2020 8:27 am
Yes, Inglis before the fog lifted. Over to you, luvverboy.
Tue 12 May, 2020 9:00 am
Thanks NNW. Really gotta get back up there and beyond. Sadly though the thought of even going to the Cradle area is depressing these days with the antibushwalker procedures they have up there now for us non OT walkers.
Ok next. Here's a tribute to a fallen warrior. Retired this tent after a good 9years hard service.

Up on top of Cathedral? Beautiful spot to camp wherever it is! What did you replace the tent with?
