Edit - I'd like to change that to Geryon, I'm not sure if it's North or South
Good edit, Rick. Geryon South it is. I was a very happy Tortoise to be there!

I'm looking forward to getting there. I was so close last time.

I can highly recommend it. Were conditions against you?

I was on the North Side in March. I got to the ascent but was solo, it was late in the day and I was very tired so left it for next time. Conditions were actually pretty good but I didn't want to descend in the dark if things didn't go to plan. Planning to go back for both North and South in the same trip
Time for a clue!
I'm looking South...

Excellent choice. And it's definitely worth having the time to savour the speckiness of it all.
I'm afraid your clue doesn't help me.

Are you below Nevada Peak and the Snowdrift Tarns looking at Snowy South?

Cheers Rick.
Can't see this one being too challenging.

That big lump of rock looks like Eldon Bluff, from maybe somewhere near Eldon Crag?

Right national park, but wrong mountains.

That'll do, it's at the saddle in between The Guardians and The Minotaur looking at Gould.

Haha that will teach me for thinking I know what I'm talking about. So I am now guessing that the pointy one is Diamond Peak, but I can't place where the shot is from. Oh well.

Spot on with Diamond Peak. Go on, have a stab! If it helps, we're on a perhaps obscure high point, on a mainly gentle trip when we visited 2 Abels.

Rocky hill?

Not as much zoom as that, and we're definitely not on an Abel.

Much closer, but still the wrong side of the highway.

And it's not on the peak baggers' list. Here's another shot from the same place.

Sorry, not quite sure which you mean. If you mean Divide Creek, then yep. We camped there the night before we enjoyed a snooze on this high point.

So I suppose I should say I think you are on Bayeux Bluff?
