Name this mountain in Switzerland

Are you looking up towards where I was standing on Mt Rigi in the last photo eggs?
Fri 24 Jul, 2020 7:03 pm
Well I guess the eyes do elevate a little - Yes that is Rigi from the railway trip.

It was a long time ago but I have good memories of riding the train up there.

A taste of Hollywood in the nearby town that has featured in the game previously.

Well south of there.

That was the clue, it's pretty close by. This beach/location shares its name with an inner Hobart suburb.
My first clue will help.

Battery Point or Beach Haines Alaska?
From Battery Point Trail - 6km out and back, with 151m elevation gain.

Yes, the beach at Battery Point near Haines, and that pretty much describes the short hike we did in the Chilkat State Park.
I managed to get some great photos of an American bald eagle sitting on a rock here.
Unfortunately he flew off when I got a bit too close. All yours.

Your first clue was vital and Google provided the rest.
I have no access to international images - give me a week or so to find the relevant boxes and albums and get the scanner working and I might be able to post something, so anyone can take over now.
Thank you

My apologies
I week has gone by, no one has taken the invitation to post, I haven't found any collections of international photos, so will have to post what I do have.
USA and very easy to get things moving again

This one is also in California on a bit of a road walk on the PCT( a detour around an old burned area)

No guesses so time for a hint, it is a near the town of Idyllwild. Actually this might be a little to obscure. I had the wrong mountain in my mind.
This was the mountain I wanted identified and was thinking it was the same mt as in previous shot. Sorry.
Fri 07 Aug, 2020 11:29 pm
I'm a bit unsure. So, is it the first or second picture that is supposed to be near Idyllwild? Still in California?
Sat 08 Aug, 2020 9:07 am
both are near Idyllwild , the second photo is of a more well known peak
Sat 08 Aug, 2020 10:31 am
San Jacinto Peak?

Yes Greg, looking along the Bow River Valley. Did the signage help (minus graffiti)?

"Yes Greg, looking along the Bow River Valley. Did the signage help "
You could say it more than helped. It pinned it down to an exact location on google maps!!

However, that's just too easy, so I will go with something with a bit of hardness to it. ( John you will need to scroll back 1 page to see my answer.)
England.

Yes that one takes mine a step even further

. I thought a very easily solvable one might be good for a change as the international game often gets stuck.
Fortunately I'm also a visual person - Buttermere, Lake District?
Sun 09 Aug, 2020 6:07 pm
Yes indeedy.
Back to john

Thanks Greg, we're doing the ping pong thing again.
What is this nice piece of North America that I'm "claiming" for Oz?
