So just to keep the game moving forward I'm going to take a wild guess and say you are in the Columbia Icefields at the Athabasca Glacier which I have never heard of nor been to.

Since VIC. is in lockdown at the moment Greg I thought you might enjoy some mental stimulation. Which must have worked as you are 100% correct .

Some mental stimulation!! I'm going completely mad down here. It's like being in Prison, except the food is worse. I get 1 hour a day out of solitary to stagger around the exercise yard and then try not to mow the lawn again, for the 4th time this week. Even if you escape you barely get 5 km's from home and the Stasi hunt you down and shoot you between the eyes with a $1600 dollar fine. At least I'm learning new words to sum up my feelings- Weltschmerz and Ennui.

Anyhows on with the game and this ones from an Asian country I managed to escape from earlier this year, just in time to locked up at home. Ahh, the serenity.

Not K2 which is the 2nd highest hill in the woild, and not in Nepal as I understand it!

Not Everest aka No 1. Nor Everest's next door neighbour Lhotse which comes in No 4 from memory.

You would see this little bugger if you took the long way to the other 2 via the next valley and over a high pass though.

Yes Indeedy Last.

The 6th highest mountain on Earth. 8200m Cho Oyo. Sort of dominates the views as you make your way up the Dudh Khosi Valley.

Taken from the ridge above Macchermo, at about 4600m.

I could just make out a wee bit of Everest poking its nose above the nearby mountains to my right as I took this. ( not in this shot though) great little ridge to explore as I was unable to continue on to Gokyo.

Looks Welsh, so I'll open the bidding with Llandudno. possibly taken from near the headlamd at Porth Dyniewaid Angel Bay, or little Orme.

On further investigation I believe you probably tool from the
Rhiwledyn North Wales Wildlife Trust Reserve.

You're correct, GregR. The town on the peninsular is Llandudno, a typical seaside resort although a little less run down than most.

The peak is Great Orme. I recommend the walk round the back of it, which includes a dramatic route midway up some stunning cliffs, which I was totally not expecting.

The photo is taken from Little Orme, just a few metres from its summit. Little Orme is also stunning, provided you leave the Wales Coast Path and descend the sharp ridges to the old quarry.

I may or may not have been within the Nature Reserve: my map doesn't show its boundary.

Sheeese... great-great-great granddaughter, you're doing remarkably well all things considered.

I only passed by this area on the train to Chester via Conwy and hope to get back post Pandemic. the reason I said the nature reserve was on google maps pics was an almost identical photo to yours- even had the same rocks in the foreground.

This ones on mainland Europe. Nasty place.
