Mt Field is good but it's a big place. Would you like to be more specific?

Mawson Plateau? That pool looks very familiar, but then I've rambled over most of the higher bits of MFNP.

You look to be roughly north west of Cradle, which suggests Beecroft or Cripps, but it looks further away than either and that puddle below doesn't show on the maps. I hate this game.

Probably near Bare Mountain - satellite image shows some ponds a bit west of Lake Lea.

Yes, we were heading out to Mt Beecroft, probably closely adjacent to Mt Cripps.

Probably wrong, but I'll open the bidding with Lake Adelaide.

I camped at Adelaide the next night.

Y'know eggs, sometimes you take all the fun out of this. I was expecting to have people stumbling around various bits of Walls access routes for a couple of days and you have to go and ruin it all. I am now going to go and sulk over my lunch.

My humblest apologies - I was pretty confident that it was just a wild guess.
The only likelihood for me was that the background was the Great Pine Tier, but that could also be wrong.
I could only imagine that a wrinkle in the shore on the southern edge might be a match.
Let's try this one then.
