On an access track to Leven Canyon?
Fri 08 Jan, 2021 5:00 pm
Yes eggs, we had just gone for a walk along part of the canyon. This was from a clearfell near where we parked.

Thanks eggs, definitely had that Cradle locale appearance. Looks like you had a nice day for it.
Where am I doing some housekeeping?

Yes the conditions make it harder to make out Lake Bill behind me.
Appropriately on the edge of Blizzard Plain. Over to you Zane.

Nice! I have never camped there, always get lured to Myrtle

Thanks!
Okay, next one! What were we walking down from?
Sun 10 Jan, 2021 9:15 pm

Correct! You should pop it on the to do list, a nice little walk with a lovely view

Also, not too sure where my first reply has gone to? Makes it look like Eggs is talking to themselves

He was....
I visited the Pieman at the now drowned Heemskirk Falls [not the current Heemskirk Falls], but I have never managed to get to Corrinna
Next one - just name the mountain in view

I can see Terminal, and Lloyd Jones, and Secheron, and Frankland Peak ... at least I think I can. That's some impressive telephoto capability. Are you somewhere near Strathgordon?

I suspect eggs is at Serpentine Lookout, yes using a lot of zoom. I have a wide view shot from there that this fits into perfectly.
Tue 12 Jan, 2021 11:26 am
I was at Serpentine. It is a zoom, and I think NNW can have it for a good imagination. Definitely Lloyd-Jones perhaps Terminal?, but Secheron and Frankland are out of view to the RHS.
Tue 12 Jan, 2021 11:57 am
I got Lloyd Jones, which is the one that counts. That's probably what called Terminal Dome on the far left, which is on the spur running down NEish from the summit, but close enough. Maybe it's time I went back and covered the gap between Secheron and Lloyd Jones, although there's some very awkward rock in between.
I was playing "name the peak" out here. Far too many to get them all right, so one small section from where?

Great photo NNW

A bit of zooming too maybe? Flat Bluff??
Wed 13 Jan, 2021 8:49 am
Bit of zoom, cropped to remove foreground.
I keep saying this but: right general area, wrong lump. Views here are even better.
