That's a pleasant looking tarn. Reminds me a little of Lake Belton, but not sure that's right...

Based on that clue it's likely at Cradle. I'm guessing either Lake Lilla or Wombat Pool. Leaning towards Lake Lilla.
If I can find my shots of them it might help.

Looks more like Wombat Pool to me, but confirmation would also require digging out photos and I'm trying to pack, so ...

Sure. The name has Lake in it, not Tarn or Pool

Yes, great detective work eggs. We had such good weather that I could see possibly 180 degrees worth of peaks from there.
