I dunno. I'd have thought you've had a few walks where the track looked a bit like that. Bit more mud, though.

Only briefly.
Plenty of boat rides, but. One on the old Maria Ferry when it was rolling gunwhale to gunwhale. And a night on Bass Strait when 2/3rd of the crew were seasick. First Cook Strait crossing was also interesting. etc.

We gazed across at Maria while we were told it was too rough for the ferry to run.

I can't make sense of this one. Relative positions of High Dome and what I think is Pelion West put you east - maybe south east - of the latter, but High Dome looks the further away of the two, which suggests more north east ... and then there's that ridge below ... which looks like a cross between Loddon Range, King Willies and PB.
