Actually, maybe based on your clue, part way up Wedge...
How would a cubist paint a flounder?

The one on the right is a popular day walk. The one on the left, not so much. After all, what's left of it looks enormous. But plenty of people go as far as its little sibling, which has a good, signed track.

Yup. We called it Lake Gell. Found the way NOT to go, then found the better way out of there.

Yes I’ve had some good walks. There are three Abel’s above the fog in this picture. One may be in the tip of your brain but maybe your brain is a bit confused.

No, a long way north of there. My thinking was BRAIN - BRIAN - then the name of the closest mountain substituting different vowels for the I and A.
