Best Tasting Dehydrated Camping Food

I am late to the party, but a previous poster wanted to know about Camper's Pantry Moroccan Pork. My recommendation is: just don't do it to yourself. You will cry into your little foil packet with disappointment and cry all the more if it is the last meal you have as the dawning realisation hits you that you will have to push on and eat the whole meal or be very hungry.

They probably don't eat all that much pork in Morocco
I have phrased my own question somewhat differently; as in which is the least bad/least disgusting FD food.

You have not been to Greece? The tavernas house wine is ... 'Domestos' at least that is what the brits call it. Reasonable for the price.

I like Strive but takes a bit more fuel to get right.
I like Primal Pods for lunch or overnight without a stove.
I like my own dehydrated meals. Favourite is Massaman Mince Curry with Deb mash potato but you need to note the amount of boiling water required for the mash to get it right. Add a splash of olive oil to both.

Unless you're gone for more than 3 days, you can avoid the dehydrated food altogether.

You won't know yourself with a dehydrator, I was waiting for the Aldi sale too but caved and bought one on-line. I work most weekends so always seem to miss the best things at Aldi anyway.
I have been dehydrating everything. The kids are worried I will chuck them in there next. Interestingly enough, haven't made any actual dinner-type meals yet as have had it on the go for the last few weeks drying an abundance of citrus we have had, have made low carb crackers, dried some low carb tortillas I made so they are crispy flatbread now, fruit leathers for the kids, cherry/coconut cardamom crisps that will be my breakfast when out walking....oh Moondog, the possibilities! Line up for sure when that Saturday Special Buys day rolls around.

Yes, I had figured pork wouldn't be on the menu much in Morocco, being a largely Muslim country, you are bang on. I should have realised from the name alone that it was a dud. I still haven't recovered from the torture that was eating it. Shudder.

Filling & chunky.

My tastebuds liked the Mexican chilli beans(warming not hot), Kumara chickpea curry (coconut creamy taste) & i added Yeast flakes instead of parmesan to the vegan Spaghetti Bolognese( the tomato sauce needed something extra).

Forgot to order the Cajun Jambalaya...

I tried one of the OnTtrack meals the other day for the first time. The Big Breakfast - outstanding!
Chorizo, bacon, champions, potato and kidney beans - my hiking companions also tried a spoonful and agreed. Yum.
Portion size could have been a bit bigger but I'm just a glutton.
