This has gone on long enough and I've run out of clues. It's the Gardiner River in Yellowstone NP, northern Wyoming near the Montana border.
Also contains the Boiling River thermal feature near my location. I've posted both spots previously.
Anyone can go next.

A bit too cryptic for this old head I’m afraid. I found the Kettle River that is a tributary of Columbia River, in Oregon or Washington I think. I couldn’t go anywhere after that.

the closest image I could find on the web led me to Squirrel Removal, Oakland County Michigan

That's still a really large target with very little to go on. My research suggests Kington Recreation Ground (a cricket ground) in Kington, Herefordshire UK.
Which I'm confident is 100% wrong.

Nope. Snow Canyon is real sandstone. This is more glued together dirt.

North and west and in a different state.

OK: Hint time. Nepal, and the foreground on the right hand side is the giveaway as to which bridge between two well travelled villages it is.
The new pic is the Village on right of screen that you are travelling to via this bridge.

I think the town in your second photo is Tengboche. There is a bridge on either side, one over Imja Khola and one over Dudh Kishinev. I’m guessing it’s one of those.

There's a very recognisable peak in this photo but which mountain was I on in North America?

I keep coming up with Unicorn Peak and Cockscomb Peak, but neither looks quite correct.
