Neither. Both answers are in the frame but Projection is closer.

And I just missed Hansons Peak, which I've been on hundreds of times!

Yes Graham. I thought someone would get it next.

Thanks, John. Process of elimination I guess.

Saltwater River?
Wed 14 Feb, 2024 12:57 pm
Close but this place has a name.
Wed 14 Feb, 2024 1:18 pm
I've visited that location, but not all of it. Maybe Sandhill Ridge?
Wed 14 Feb, 2024 2:03 pm
It’s low level, definitely not on a ridge. If you look at the ground you might get a clue as to what it would be like in wetter times.

Lime Bay maybe? Although I didn't think there were similar mudflats that far around. Unless this is back towards Premaydena or Koonya? Am I allowed to guess 3 different places in one post - lol...

Lime Bay is the closest so far. A little bit west of Lime Bay.

Sloping Lagoon? I assume it's tidal.
Wed 14 Feb, 2024 3:40 pm
hmmm, thinking it must be on Sloping Island

One of those two words is correct.

I’m sorry John. I missed this one. Yes it’s walking across Sloping Lagoon. It’s not tidal, just completely dry after a dry period.

Thanks Graham. Sounds a bit like Thirlmere Lakes up here, fed by water table, so dries up during prolonged drought.

Junction Lake Track?

That's quite a long track, I'm looking for a more specific location. Closest named feature will do.

Easier to start like that and then narrow it down.
The coral fern makes me think you're between Adelaide and Meston.

No worries. Correct. I'm approaching Meston, traversing this pretty spot.

Hmmm, no, but I can see why you'd say that. Hadn't noticed the resemblance before.
It is in the same NP .

Still no, but a teensy bit closer.
