UPDATE
We lost both our ovens at the same time.
We were going to buy a F&P range but it has been DFR'd so as we were in a hurry to get our kitchen back we bought an Electrolux range with an induction top.
So far I am seriously impressed with how fast it is, I dare not look away when using the boost setting and browning meat.
I tested the power by seeing haw fast it brought water to the boil for cooking pasta, YEP much faster than our 1000W microwave, 5 litres to a rolling boil in 3 minutes and pasta cooks at a setting of 6 on the sliding scale.
Most of our pots and pans turn out to be unsuitable as the bases are very slightly warped for decades of use or are not magnetic steel so we went to the Geelong Nisbets store and we just spent a few hundred dollars on new commercial grade pots and pans
Heat pump hot water system next and very very soon, our gas consumption has never equaled the supply charge and the efficiency of the heat pumps should pay for itself in about 3 years, even if we aren't here the increase in selling price of the house may be worthwhile because I think it's now a seven star rating

A bit of positive feedback after using induction for a while. I'd never voluntarily go back to a gas range after using induction.
Now talking seriously about going to a heat pump HWS. We just can't decide on the size we need but we'll get a CO2 split system for sure and we'll make sure it runs predominately between 1100 and 1500; our peak solar production times; and hopefully we can produce enough each day to heat the water as well as running the split system heaters during the colder months.

Reclaim going in soon, actually while I am away skiing so the installation will be done by the time I get back. Spending now so that we can afford to eat on the old age pension

My Reclaim heat pump unit is still going well after several years. Set up to run off the solar output during the day. Which model did you get?

315 litre glass lined tank. There being very little difference in cost between tank sizes and Geelong water isn't too corrosive so we saw little point in the stainless tank. Not happy about the low tank storage temperature but is seems there isn't much we can do about that

I have just installed a Reclaim heat pump. Same problem with the low temperature setting. After complaining and further investigation found that you can increase both the low and the high if you use option 6 or 7. The high can only go to 60 from 59 default.

We also have the 315L glass tank; need to remember to have the anode replaced after 5 years.
The water temperature is more than hot enough. I vaguely remember the installing plumber saying something about adjusting it to the maximum allowed.
There is no way we could shower with it anywhere near the maximum temperature. Haven't played around with the settings as it's functioning correctly as is.
I just check the control panel occasionally in case of anything abnormal.

Good to know. I was aware that it has quite a few settings but I haven't really explored them.
