Hi all, I have for sale a One Planet Umbra with a special factory order upgraded harness. It is last years model but has never been used.
The capacity is 45L and the weight is 1.2kg. Full specs can be found here: http://www.oneplanet.com.au/bushwalking ... umbra.html
The Umbra comes standard with a 'mini' harness but due to my plans to use this pack with the Aarn balance pockets I requested the fitment of a 'mini plus' as this would allow me to use the Aarn buckle without modification. I have started a thread with this excellent setup in the gear section.
The differences between the mini and the mini plus are massive, the latter sharing the exact same hipbelt as their flagship ExactFit harness and is a dream to wear. It is in my opinion the pack they should of made. The harness is the current model.
The reason I am selling is that I am not a super light weight walker and I simply cannot fit my normal gear in comfortably (I have a larger tent, sleeping bag and always take my MSR cookset) and I hate having a pack that has stuff hanging off the sides. I bought this kind of by accident when visiting the One Planet factory and really should of taken my normal kit along to test before buying. I also have 3 other One Planet packs and am feeling that I may have the beginnings of a problem.
The pack does not come with the Aarn buckle or pockets, but they should be reasonably easy to find.
Come on all you gram-counting warriors, get an Aarn style setup with the clean lines and quality construction of One Planet. Even if you don't choose to fit the balance pockets, this is the best 45L pack you will ever wear.
Asking price is what I paid, $270. Brand new you can pick these up for $250 but this is with the standard mini harness. I think this is pretty good value as the equivalent Aarn 45L is $300.
