(LTON ONLY - School or Clubs) Give Away of Old Gear

Hi. I am wondering if any school groups or other outdoor clubs would like to receive some old gear from Tasmanian Expeditions.

Not wanting to throw it away I am happy to deliver items within Launceston as of tomorrow (Wednesday 22nd). These items are quite old and some may not be even usable but free is cheap!!

We have --- Around 8 Backpacks DMH Brand Backpacks + 1 Macpac (very worn). The DMH ones would be suitable for school groups.
-------------- Helmets - maybe 20. They are old and do not pass safety regulations for commercial operations any longer (disclaimer!!)
-------------- Lifejackets x 10. Again I have no idea on Safety Accreds etc, we have not used them in some time.
-------------- Tents. Some may or may not be worth having, some will have holes that can be patched and some will be perfectly fine - if you want to sift through feel free!! x 12. Mountain Designs Plateau / Salewa Sierra Leone / Mapac Apollo
Barrells - good for rafting etc....around 4.

I hate to throw things away when they can still work - but we can take no responsibility if any gear doesn't perform adequately. It is after all...free.

If you have no luck, The University Walking Club will gladly take the packs and tents, but we would have to arrange something for a pick up as we are based in Hobart

The lifejackets & helmets are off the market for Safety and Liability reasons!!!! lol
