WTB: Long sleeping bags

Hi all, I'm after a couple of lightweight sleeping bags as i'm sick of my old heavy kathmandu one (1.4kg, 4C ).
They must be size long. I'm looking for one rated to around 4 to 8C and another around -10 to -5C. Will consider quilts.
I'm located in SE Melb but happy to pay for postage on the right bag.

Hi.

I have a mountain designs ultra 500. 500g of 700fill. Im not sure of its size ie reg or large (I think they only did one length) but its certainly longer than me. Im 5'6 and if I put my toes at the end the top of my head is still below the start of the face opening of the hood. I measured it to be 200cm from top to toe loose. Weighs 900grams and is comfort rated -7 to 3 degrees.

I have a J&H Ultra Flouro but the offer would have to be good.
550 grams of 900+ down, total mass 900grams, cut big to wear / use over a full down suit

I don't know much about this bag, nor find much info around. Is it a long length?

Very long, also very expensive as it is a specialty summit assault bag for the Himalayas they only made for a few years, pictures here

no zip they cost $900- when they were new, as good as any bag on the market now but it is a very niche market bag.
getting on got 15 YO now ( I purchased 1990 and 1991 ). i think they only made 200 or so and a lot are still on or around Everest

What is your budget? Why are you not buying new?

I was hoping to save some money buying 2nd hand. Was really hoping to spend under $400 for the two bags I'm looking for but that mightn't be possible by the looks...

Do you think buying new is a better idea?

I guess that most people hang on to their bags for a long time so you might not find many for sale.

Well I expect 10 to 20 years from a bag depending on usage and a bag I bought in England 35 years ago is still being used for winter car camping, so perhaps buying S/h will only get you a bag approaching its use by date

I guess you are right, oh well worth a shot.

No one has any quilts they gave a go and didn't like?
