G'day forest, I'm curious to know what UQ's you're deciding to keep over this one & does it have drawcords on each end to help seal up any gaps?

I have a Hammock Gear 3 season in black with 2oz overfill. Lately I've been tenting in summer, And hammock camping in the winter ?? Weird I know. Just have too much gear that isn't seeing use... might as well give it a good home.

Yep it sure does have the drawcords etc on the ends.
Also has the full length side bungies so you can slide it around to suit on the hammock.
These 3/4 phoenix UQ's work very, very well.

sounds like a good bit of kit but at about 132cm long how do you keep your legs & feet warm? I wouldn't mind a down UQ at some stage but I'm not too sure about the 3/4 ones plus I wonder how cold you can go with it?

Easy, just stick a bit of thin CCF under your legs. I've been to -7°C on snow in my hammock with a 3/4 UQ and the Americans go much lower. I use a 8mm small piece of hacked up CCF BigW mat. Only about 300x500mm.
Lots lighter than having a full length UQ.
Your lower legs and feet don't require as much insulation as your core.
My heads normally on a small pillow. Hence the 3/4, Shoulder to knee's UQ coverage.
If your undecided on which type of UQ, have a good troll around on hammockforum.com
Plenty of info on full length vs 3/4.
Huge wealth of knowledge there.

I've never pushed the limits on this one but I'd say it would go down close to freezing. Like I said, I've taken my 3 season set to the 20°F rating and was toasty warm, I'm pretty sure they would have gone lower.
Hammock gear rate there stuff conservatively IMO.

They are about 5mm (off memory the specs might actually be 4.5mm). Very sturdy pegs for there low weight.
