We are only bobcats, and not sure on the coming of age boundaries for cougar-hood but,
If you hung out at Narcissus jetty with a 20kg pack, cold beer and possibly popcorn

37 and above ( Think Christina Applegate in the Anchorman etc)

17 up to but not limited to her own age.

Vulnerbility and a certain niaeve charm (remember they are a oppertunistic prey animal)

Intimidation, aggression occasionally sedation and always curvation!

Do cougars want more than a one night stand, or perhaps a one walk stand?

By the way Nuts, old(er) "chooks" can have quite a lot going for them - less likely to want babies, less likely to want to tie you down, more likely to have some money (in theory) etc.

Sorry but how is 'less likely to tie you down' a good thing?

Bottom line: So they are agile and like to stalk and ambush anything they can sink their claws into, dragging their kill to a protected spot and then feeding on them for days. Not usually a scavenger, attacks are rare but on the rise and can be fatal! Beware!

But like the Penrith Panther, could just be an urban legend!

Yo umight be onto something there. I was taught from watching animal world documentaries and buying meat that younger game gave more tender meat?

From what I understand, which is not much , the relative Cougar to prey age is;
Half your age + 5. So if you were 40years young anyone above 25years will do?
