WTB Ray-way 2P tarp and net tent

Postby christophermoore » Sat 18 Aug, 2012 7:59 am

After some bad recent experiences with condensation, I'm interested in trying out tarps. I'm interested specifically in the Ray-way tarps, with the beaks on the ends (I think the Golite Cave 2 is a similar tarp, on the off-chance anyone has one of those).

And I'm looking for a compatible inner net tent for mosquito avoidance.

I know I could make my own, but I'd prefer not to devote the time at the moment (though that may well be what it comes to).

I'm selling a Yama Mountain Gear Terraform and 1.25 person net tent at the moment here: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=10568

The Terraform is a bit more substantial than the ones you've mentioned being more of an A-Frame shape. The ends don't hit the ground completely though and not having a floor means you can play with the pitch height a bit depending on the weather. You can also leave both front doors unzipped and have a lot of ventilation.

Otherwise the net tent will probably be compatible with most tarps if you find something else.

There are lots of photos of both on the manufacturers website.
