I am very interested but it seems a little expensive. They are only USD $ 299- new plus USD$35- postage, that is $321 AUD
Second hand I could maybe pay $225-

No they are $600 , for sale at Golites sale for 50% off and they have been sold out for months. I'd say if you can get one for $321 snap it up it's a great tent.

Does the mesh inner have much impact on the warmth when snow camping??

Sorry to hijack this thread, but this is truly one of my favorite tents. I bought it on sale from hermits hut and actually paid close to $600 for this so this is actually a good deal.

Got a solid inner made for it from ookworks and have used it extensively in the snowies. Works a charm.

That's interesting ninja, as I just got a reply to my query about a solid inner from Golite and they say it isn't needed at all.
Even if it is a good deal I need to decide between a new tent and a new Home Theatre amplifier and my beloved does not go camping but she does watch movies with me
