A complete guide to walking, flora, fauna and history on the overland track.
Also available in the Kindle version which is what i own, this is the best book that I've found on the overland track. Its one of the most up to date.
Covers the track in great detail including many side trails.

This book can be hard to get. Best order it directly from the author:
http://www.overlandguide.com The site also has some good info like a altitude profile of the hike.
