Mount Feathertop Last Weekend 27/28 Oct

Was talked into a trip to Federation Hut last weekend. Despite the mixed weather forecasts the weather was good for walking. The track was good apart from trees over it at about 4 locations. Plenty of water available at the spring near the old hut site and the spring located on the track to the Melb Uni Hut. I have include a couple of pics that I took.

Yep up and back down via Bungalow Spur

Did the Bungalow Spur - Razorback - Bon Accord Spur circuit last weekend. The water tank at the Federation Hut is "temporarily closed". Plenty of water flow at the spring on the Tom Kneen Track below Feathertop (on way to MUMC Hut).

Heading to Feathertop next weekend into Christmas week. Thanks for the heads up about the water situation. Looks like a visit to the spring will be needed before setting up camp.
