More love for Lindemans track

Postby Webguy » Fri 11 Apr, 2014 2:26 pm

Been chatting to the ranger I do signage work with, and he is nearly ready to start more work on "defining" the lindeman track some more.

From what he says, it will be done in a number of stages and will never be upgraded to tourist track of course, but it may make it easier to negotiate in places.

I'll post an update as I know more, but the first stage sounds like it will be from Roberts to Gladstone passes.

Volunteers will be needed to help with this work, so will post more information as the date is set and what we are doing has been decided etc.

Great to here that Lindeman is finally getting some proper attention! I'm sure Jim Smith would be happy. Thanks for the info.

As for volunteers, be sure to let us know when we're needed, I'll be sure to help out if I'm available.
Tackling the unknown and the awesome one adventure at a time!
