[TAS] wtb down sleeping bag

Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

[TAS] wtb down sleeping bag

Postby jackson_turner1 » Fri 28 Mar, 2014 9:47 pm

I'm after a down sleeping bag good for conditions in Tas.
Aiming for around -3 to -10 c.
I dont want anything too expensive, just cheap second hand will do. but feel free to show me your offers.

I'm just starting out and am currently carrying an extra bag on the front of me just so i can fit my crappy 'trailmaster' bag with me.

I will hold off on buying from U.s sites for now until i know what i really want.
not much is on gumtree at the moment but do look occasionally

please dont hesitate to PM me.
thanks, Jackson :D

You will have to define your budget as comfort at those temperatures automatically cry out "$$$$Dollars$$$$" to me.

Several on here at the moment so I assume that you wish to pay less than $200-
Ve are too soon old und too late schmart

As moondog suggested there is at least one good down sleeping bag on here that I know is still for sale.

Have you considered a quilt?

With a $300 budget I would be looking at an EE Revelation too.

I have a S2S APII but would want around $400 + postage if you could stretch that far, used about 10 nights only, very good bags but I don;t need a winter bag anymore
