FS[ACT] Event jacket & down parka

Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

FS[ACT] Event jacket & down parka

Postby Joomy » Sun 02 Nov, 2014 10:56 am

OK guys I've had a lot of success at lightening my wardrobe but I'm still trying to get rid of the two best pieces, my Crux Torq jacket and my Bergans Sastrugi down parka. Both are in top notch condition with light use. I am selling because the shell is a bit tight for me now and the Sastrugi is too warm for my immediate future plans (it's *&%$#! warm). The Crux is an M-Tall (longer arms and torso) and the Sastrugi is a size L. I also have a women's Sastrugi size M for sale if any ladies are interested.

I'm now asking $200 for the Torq and $250 for the Sastrugi because I just need to get rid of them. You absolutely won't find a better shell or puffy for a better price.

While I sadly cannot justify buying either of these, I thought i'd pop in my twopence worth. I've only bought one item from joomy, and don't know him from a proverbial bar of soap, but I bought my all-time favourite Goretex jacket from him. It was in excellent condition at an excellent price, so I'd like to recommend him as a seller. :)

Agreed. 10/10.
Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful.

It's a large and fits me well, and I am on the lighter side of large already, so yes probably wouldn't work for an XL bloke sadly.

Still, I can't believe nobody is interested. I went into a certain retailer today and they had a Rab Summit jacket going for $400, which is heavier and not nearly as warm as this guy. If they sell even 1 of those in size L then somebody has really missed out on a much better jacket for a much better price. But visibility is everything I guess.
