[FS NSW Sydney] Tarptent Notch Brand New

Once an item is sold, found or thread is no longer needed we move it here. These maybe helpful for historic reasons.

[FS NSW Sydney] Tarptent Notch Brand New

Postby lorrainey100 » Thu 20 Nov, 2014 3:50 pm

Selling my brand new Tarptent Notch never used in the field but set up three times in my backyard. I discovered too late in the day that I am not a two trekking pole but a one trekking pole bushwalker (edit: or none). I thought I could change.

Total price paid for last month after currency conversion is AUD$530. The package includes:

(a) Tarptent fly
(b) inner mesh
(c) solid inner,
(d) seam sealed by Tarptent.

I've also attached fluorescent guy lines in the provided attachments near the openings so you don't have to do it and for more wind stability.

Asking $450 (not including postage in Australia. My loss is your gain.

Why not simply keep it and carry a spare pole?
Much cheaper than taking the loss and having to buy a new tent and only a couple of hundred grams
Ve are too soon old und too late schmart

If he/she gets some locus gear poles it's maybe 150g. I think you can buy just one at a time for <$90 Inc shipping too no less.

That said, there may be other reasons to sell (footprint size, or interior room etc).

I am now considering a Duomid since it has one pole and less weight [edit: or tarptent moment no trekking pole but heavier]

Or a tent pole rather than a trekking pole. Either get it from tarptent or buy a kit from Anaconda and make your own to the desired height.
